2012 AUSTRALIAN SUPERKART CHAMPIONSHIP FINALE ENTRY CLOSING SOON

The Australian Superkart Championships Round 2 Finale is set to get underway at Queensland Raceway on AUGUST10th-12th.which is in conjunction with Shannons Nationals Round 6.

Note that the first Official Practice session for Superkarts is scheduled for Friday afternoon.

Please note the entry closing date and ensure that you have sent your Entry Confirmation and Series Form(if required) completed and signed in good time for processing to:

To lodge your entry for ASC Round 2, please go to the SKA website and:

click the ‘Events’ tab, then click the ‘Round 2 Queensland Raceway’ tabDownload and read the documents relevant to your entryPrint and fully complete all details of the Qld Rwy Entry Confirmation Form, proceed to complete the document fields on each page, and ensure any previously provided information is correct and has not changed, and:

Check your completed documents and ensure you have provided the necessary Disclaimers that you need to complete, sign where applicable and return to the SKA address.

Final Event Information is yet to be confirmed by promoters Shannons, but to assist competitors we have initial information that competitor access for Park-Up is most likely to be conducted after 2.30pm on Thursday August 9th. Final event logistics and schedules will be published as News Updates by SKA as soon as they are received as approved from the promoter and circuit management.

SKA will publish Qld Raceway Round Event Supplementary Regulations when they are received from promoter Shannons Nationals. Australian Superkart Championship Sporting Regulations from Cams Ltd are found under the ‘Round 2 Queensland’ tab.

Category Pitting arrangements has not yet been finalized, so please do not send allocation requests as they cannot be processed prior to close of entries. SKA will request allocation preferences when entry numbers and pitting/garage allocation fromShannons is known.

Private Practice for Superkarts on Friday August 10th has been arranged with organizers at Qld Raceway with a check-in payment of $80 to QR at the Circuit.

Dorian Timers are mandatory for this event. Please ensure your Dorian number is included on the Series Form and/or Event Confirmation. NOTE: If you do not have a Dorian Timer or are unable to provide a timing number with your entry forms, insert HIRE on the documents. If you insert HIRE on the documents you are indicating that you will need to hire a unit at nominal cost allocated to you by SKA as per previous events.
