2013 NATIONAL SK CHAMPS ROUND 2 SEPTEMBER 20th to 22nd COMPETITOR UPDATE

GARAGE ALLOCATION – SKA and Shannons Nationals have finalised category garage allocations, with SKA pleased to secure Pit Lane Garages #29-40 and #41-42 ie 12 ‘old’ and 2 ‘new’ garages at this event. SKA has allocated spaces based on the usual constraints and contacts with competitors. Costs are additional to entry fees and SKA has issued a garage allocation map which is available on the website ‘Events’ page http://www.superkartsaustralia.org/2013-superkart-championships-.php .

Garage Payment in full in the amount nominated against each competitor on the allocation map must be received by SKA prior to the 9.00am Compulsory Drivers Briefing on Saturday Sept 21st. Payments can be made by prior EFT to the SKA Nab account* below or by cash or cheque at the event.

 

EVENT PARK UP – Shannons have advised that the circuit will be open on the Thursday Sept 19th evening for teams to unload into their garages. Shannon’s directive “This will be strictly between 6 pm and 7.45 pm for facility access only and not for preparatory vehicle work”.  SKA Event Managers will be present to direct competitors and distribute keys.  The circuit is hired out that day until 6pm. SKA Competitors are directed to access the circuit by Gate 2 which is 100metres past the Main Gate(1). Other details are included with Event Further Regulations.

PRIVATE PRACTICE - Friday Practice on September 20th is optional for drivers, and they will need to sign on/pay directly to PIARC (Secretary’s Office). The cost will be $175 see Further Regulations.

SKA DINNER 7.00PM START – On Saturday evening Sept 21st our function will be held at the Ramada Resort Eco Village, 2128 Phillip Island Road, Cowes VIC  3922. See you all there for a great evening.
