ASKC 2014 RUN AND WON

The 2014 Superkart Championships has seen a spectacular contest in all classes, with some great race long tussles for supremacy.  Such is the nature of championship competition that it brings out the very best superkart racing for competitors, teams and spectators alike.

We congratulate our 2014 Champions,

Dalton Rowell 250 National, and

Garry Haywood 125 Gearbox

for not only their fine achievements and racing skills, but also on the great entertainment and competition spirit displayed. To the runners up, competitors and their teams, we also commend you on the high standard of competitive racing, the camaraderie that continually grows, and great presentation of our sport. Well done all!!

The Superkart Championships can be showcased at high level and continue to be successful with the assistance and support of CAMS and Shannons Nationals, and the major circuit organisations at PIARC and ARDC.

In the background of all fine racing are the people that make it happen, and SKA as an organisation functions with the selfless efforts and determination of our team, and the support of funding sponsors and contributors. Our heartfelt appreciation must be acknowledged to our event team - Pam Pegoraro, Barbara Hepworth, Graeme Williams, and their posse of assistants. We graciously thank our sponsors for their generous support that keeps the championship series viable – Rockpress Metal Fabricators, Coach Design Bus Coach and 4x4 Motorhome Builders, Zahl 1 Karting, Denture Professionals, Slipstream Signs, Supercheap Auto and Giova Design. The SKA annual dinner continues to be both a success and appreciated by all. Superkarts at Shannons Nationals now has a professional appearance, and a racing presence acknowledged by other categories for our skill, speed and devotion to one of the purest forms of racing. With all of this assistance and support, Australian Superkarting at championship level is indeed in a good place, and set to grow more from here.
